With 30+ years of healthcare experience, Christie Bishop is a nurse administrator and clinical leader passionately committed to improving clinical and quality practices for rural and community hospitals and health centers. Driven by the profound personal experience of witnessing her brother’s battle with terminal childhood cancer and the compassionate care provided by healthcare professionals, Christie embarked on a career in nursing to make a positive impact on patients’ lives during their most vulnerable moments; her commitment to patient well-being shines through in every client engagement. Christie serves on Stroudwater’s Clinical and Quality Team, where she leverages her expertise in clinical documentation, survey readiness, quality improvement, surgical pre- and post-operative flow, optimizing Emergency Department wait times, and improving the throughput of Swing bed admissions.

Christie’s extensive experience includes serving as Director of Patient Care Services at McLaren Bay Region and Chief Nursing Officer at Huron Medical Center before joining Stroudwater. She is deeply committed to improving hospital quality and standards, particularly in Swing bed programs, while advocating for patient-centered care and excellence in clinical practice.

She completed her Master of Science in nursing at the University of Phoenix in 2024.
