Melissa is an experienced healthcare operations professional who creates workflows that improve the experience of clinicians and patients. She has ten years of healthcare experience and proven knowledge of start-ups, telehealth, provider engagement, product development, and specialty and surgical practice management, and brings a strong record of accomplishment in practice and operations management to her work with Stroudwater clients. She serves Stroudwater clients in the areas of Clinician engagement & productivity, Physician practice improvement, Ambulatory strategy and development, and Telemedicine.
Before joining Stroudwater, Melissa served as Senior Practice Manager for Vault Health, where she managed nationwide provider networks and compliance for 1000+ clinicians and staff, developed corresponding practice improvement plans, and implemented process changes to improve care for patients and achieve operational excellence with clinician partners. Previously, Melissa worked as Senior Operations Manager for Breast Care, Plastic Surgery, and Rheumatology and as Program Manager for Dermatology & Wound Care, both at Samaritan Medical Center. She assisted Samaritan with their transition away from a third-party management company (Healogics), including writing all new policies/procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and transferring electronic medical records from iHeal to eClinicalWorks.
Melissa earned her Master’s Degree in industrial/organizational psychology at Springfield College, Springfield, MA. She holds a Bachelor of Science in psychology from SUNY Brockport, Brockport, NY.
