Wade Gallon, MPA, FHFMA, joined Stroudwater Associates in 2021 and is passionate about finding comprehensive opportunities to the challenges providers face in a continually changing healthcare delivery system. With experience in a variety of contexts in the healthcare finance space, he understands the complexities of reimbursement, the current healthcare financial landscape and enjoys helping each client succeed in their unique situation. At Stroudwater, Wade supports clients through services such as financial and operational analysis and cost report review.
Before joining Stroudwater, Wade served as a manager in the Integrated Reimbursement department at MaineHealth. His role involved working with both Critical Access Hospitals (CAHs) and Acute Care Hospitals to complete annual cost reports for both the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and State of Maine, evaluating monthly contractual allowance and third party estimates, maintaining facility enrollment records, and completing a range of reimbursement related projects. Prior to his role at MaineHealth, Wade held roles as a consultant/financial auditor for a large regional accounting firm and as an auditor for a Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC). These previous positions gave him experience working with a wide range of healthcare provider types.
Wade is an active member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), and currently serves in both board and committee roles for the Northern New England chapter.
